Shannon Plumstead

Assistant Artistic Director/Co-Choreographer/Dancer for Ballet Deviare.
Shannon joined Ballet Deviare in 2004.
Ms. Plumstead trained with the New Jersey Ballet, The Boston Conservatory and Martha Graham School.
Soloist roles that have been created for Shannon by Ballet Deviare include, Tempest, ...The Devil Knows Why, Disconsolate & 16 Petals.
Shannon is also featured in Ballet Deviare's Film, Disconsolate. Shannon has been an integral part of Ballet Deviare since its inception.

Mission Statement

Producing thought provoking and original works which illustrate the human condition... Ballet Deviare was founded in 2003 and is located in New York City. Unbound by restrictive standards of tradition, Ballet Deviare was created and founded by Laura Kowalewski (Co-Director and Choreographer) and Andrew Carpenter (Co-Director) with the intention of broadening the scope of dance, while providing audiences with original choreographic works.
