Andrew Carpenter

Co-founder/Co-Director of Ballet Deviare.
Mr. Carpenter began his business career at the age of sixteen with the co-ownership of a skateboard company. Mr. Carpenter has worked as a booking agent and promoter for bands in various music venues and has extensive experience in music, arts, marketing and office administration. Mr. Carpenter holds a Master's degree from The State University of New York where he has also taught courses at the university level in Sociology and has taught as an adjunct professor for Touro College, The College of New Rochelle and The Borough of Manhattan Community College. Andrew is currently involved in band and talent management and is also a web designer.

Producing thought provoking and original works which illustrate the human condition... Ballet Deviare was founded in 2003 and is located in New York City. Unbound by restrictive standards of tradition, Ballet Deviare was created and founded by Laura Kowalewski (Co-Director and Choreographer) and Andrew Carpenter (Co-Director) with the intention of broadening the scope of dance, while providing audiences with original choreographic works.
